SATSLA Graphical user interface

The SATSLA Graphical User Interface is a component of the service provider. It interacts with the SATSLA Repository and with the SLAT. This component provides the end user, mainly the service provider, a graphical tool to create an SLA from scratch to define all the parameters according to the end user’s necessities.

The functionality is as follows:

·        CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update and Delete) with SLATemplates

·        Create and store relationships among SASLATemplates and OWL service profiles

Prerequisites

Software Installation

Prerequisites

The SATSLA GUI relies on the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Necessary components for a successful operation of the SATSLA GUI are a deployed SATSLA Repository, Service Discovery Registry and SLA Translator.

Installation

The SATSLA Graphical User Interface must be deployed on Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) on Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.

The addresses of the different services that the component uses as SLAT, SATSLATemplate Repository and The Service Discovery Registry Repository the first time it runs the application, we must inform the location of these services. We can do that in the “Configuration” tab specific for this task.

Note: To do this task we need to add write permission for  the user to  execute the application in the web.app file.

Standard deployment leads to the service being available on the local host under the following address:

http://localhost/SATSLAGUI/login.aspx

At the beginning only the user “Admin” has permission to enter into the application, these are the credentials for access:

User: Admin

Pass: Admin
